The book of Galatians is one of the clearest letters in the Bible about the Gospel and the freedom that Christ gives to His people.
After Paul planted churches in the region of Galatia, false teachers began telling believers that trusting in Jesus was not enough. They started adding rules and religious expectations to the Gospel.

Paul writes this letter to confront that distortion and remind the church that salvation is not Jesus plus our effort. It is Jesus alone.
But the freedom Christ gives is not freedom to live however we want. It is freedom from the weight of trying to earn God’s approval, and freedom to live a life led by the Spirit.

As we walk verse by verse through Galatians, we will see again and again that true freedom is found in Christ.
